Toxoplasma Press makes available books and art projects which often feature a disregard for rules and authority. We don’t consider a book to be a unit of commerce—a package for an idea to be bought and sold. We create books to be art objects—often hand-bound and specially printed—or as lasting documentation of clandestine or otherwise impermanent art projects.

Adama Delphine Fawundu

Adama Delphine Fawundu is an artist born in Brooklyn, NY, the ancestral space of the Lenni-Lanape. She is a descendant of the Mende, Krim, Bamileke, and Bubi peoples, and her distinct visual language centers indigenization and the power in ancestral knowledge and memory through photography, printmaking, video, sound, and assemblage.

Anne Macmillan

Anne Macmillan is currently based in K’jipuktuk (Halifax). She makes digital animations and drawings to consider relationships with what is unknown, and the appearance of things. She received her masters degree from MIT on a Fulbright scholarship, and a BFA from NSCAD university.
